IT support is responsible for second line customer support cases as well as internal IT support. A part of the team is dedicated to solving or escalating cases that were escalated by customer service. The other part assist our colleagues in daily IT support needs. Both parts are super crucial for our employee satisfaction and therefore the success of Nordnet.

Cases to IT support can span from financial transaction related questions to double-checking a portfolio report value and reinstalling a colleague’s computer.

IT support is a part of IT Operations. IT Operations also takes care of datacenters, network, Linux based systems, storage and databases.

This is part of the role

As Head of IT support, you will lead a team of six support engineers as well as take active hands-on part in the case solving around customer related cases. You will report to Deputy CTO.

Being responsible for a crucial part of our support flow demands high degree of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and focus on customer satisfaction as well as tight cooperation with colleagues in other areas. With your experience from support work and the financial industry, you spread knowledge and support the team in daily decisions. Always having customer satisfaction in focus is key to succeed in this role.

Most likely, you have a technical and financial background that enables you to understand financial services on a deeper level. You have a strong passion for customer satisfaction. You like to communicate and you have a true interest in building relations and creating result through your team. You continuously strive for improvement and dare to make tough decisions.

You are committed as a person so a high tempo is something that suits you very well. With your leadership skills, you continuously work for having a happy high performing team. Being an engaged leader you continuously inspire and lead by example.

Most likely, you have 2+ years of experience from leading teams and 4+ years of hands-on customer support experience. You have good technical understanding and know how to use SQL to retrieve and analyze data. Fluent language skills in both Swedish and English are mandatory.
