Dolphin Computer Access AB is currently looking for App developers to strengthen its development team. Dolphin is a software company, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016, active within the assistive technology sector, creating smart solutions delivering independence for people with a visual impairment and reading difficulties. Our customer base ranges from home use (including the seniors market) to education, employment and organisations. Dolphin software products are exported worldwide from our offices located in the UK, US and Sweden.

Project Team:
Product development at Dolphin is divided into multi-discipline project teams. All our project teams use agile principles. From concept to launch, development is completed in multiple iterations, with lots of functional and usability testing at every stage. This includes requirement gathering, design and development. Developers work closely with product owners, UI-designers, QA and others to ensure that final solutions meet the functional and reliability requirements dictated by the market.
Additionally, each project team is responsible for the maintenance of their products.

Requirement:
This position requires an iOS/Android developer who will co-operate with and help other teams that are responsible for the development in the mobile applications.

Technical competence:
Innovative outlook with a desire to break new ground and explore possibilities with hand held devices.
A strong team ethic and an eagerness to learn, but also a desire to share competence with colleagues.
Can work independently and finish a task by oneself.
Fits into an agile climate where flexibility and quick decisions are imperative.

Background:
At least some professional experience from native iOS and/or Android software development.
Good communication skills in English and Swedish.
Deep knowledge of Java, Objective C and Swift respectively.
Familiarity with agile development, automated testing and continuous delivery.
Active contribution to open source projects is desirable.
Experience and knowledge of REST backend services, databases, JSON, XML, HTML/CSS is a merit as well.
