System Architect to HM.com CMS

Do you want to work in the forefront leading architectural questions within our Content Management System (CMS) for HM.com with the opportunity to challenge your architectural skills? We are now looking for a System Architect with passion for Java!

H&M develop and operate one of the largest retail websites in the world. The CMS team belong to the IT division Sales Online & Marketing that provide IT solutions for all digital channels for the H&M Group. Our daily business is about web, mobile, e-commerce, social media, marketing messaging, apps and much more.

As a System Architect for the CMS team you will be responsible for driving the architectural work, analysing business needs and visions as well as positioning the solutions in the system landscape. The CMS is an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) product and you will get the opportunity to become an expert in this product. You will be a member of a large team consisting of 28 people. The team is divided in two scrum teams who work both with project implementations, maintenance and improvements of HM.com.

To succeed in this role we believe you are a senior Java developer or a System Architect with a can do attitude and a strong energy to drive things to the finish line, even if they are complex or difficult.

Your responsibilities

The job of an H&M System Architect comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

- Analyze, design and document the general AEM-solution for HM.com and integrations with mobile applications and other systems
- Work with solution architecture within HM.com with focus on AEM in relation to other systems
- Support other team members with technical expertise
- Optimize and secure efficient application development in Java with help from available frameworks in AEM
- Build, configure and secure that it is an efficient build and deploy process in all environments

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, you are a social, open, communicative, sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism.

And your skills include:

- Minimum 5 years of experience from system development or from an architect role
- Experience from both implementation and maintenance of Java in larger projects. It's a bonus if you have experience of Adobe AEM
- Genuine interest and experience in architectural work
- Good communication skills both in Swedish and English

It is a plus if you have experience of working with distributed teams.
