Our customer is a world leading provider of communications technology and services. Their offerings include services, consulting, software and infrastructure within Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

Engineering HUB Gothenburg is an organization that provides ICT services within the organisation globally. They deliver their services to a multitude of internal customers ranging from R&D organizations to regional customer service and sales organizations. Currently 170 persons are located in Gothenburg.

Within HUB Gothenburg, the “DevOps End-to End” unit delivers mobile networks, IT and IP infrastructure for test/trial purposes. Now they need to expand and are looking for a Telecom Solutions architect.

Qualifications:
You are able to work with requirement/service definition, analysis and break-down including documentation of use case and characteristics.

You are able to provide technical information for user documentation of services developed in the projects you will be involved in.

You can take a leading role in the alignment of multi-site WAN solutions for E2E telecom networks also with security solutions in mind. Typically services will be provided in Ericsson Datacenters, Corporate Networks and specific backbone solutions - developed and maintained by you and colleagues in our team.

You have practical experience and knowledge in building multi-layered networks and VPNs with IP/MPLS. You are familiar with using tunneling technologies like IPSec, GRE, L2TP and how they can be combined. If you have used L2 service provider technologies like Provider Bridge, QinQ and VXLAN it’s great. New control plane technologies like EVPN and SDN are already here or coming in the near future so any experiences in those areas is a merit.

Interest in telecom is a must. If you don’t know the basics of mobile/cellular networks, you will need to learn.

You are expert in Cisco, Juniper or Extreme? Or maybe all three?
