Front-end PHP Developer to flourishing eCommerce

Are you a talented front-end developer proficcient in PHP with moderate to good back-end skills?

Do you like to work autonomously in a small team with short iterations and minimal overhead development?

--- Required skills

* Experience in PHP (or C++ background but ability to pick up on a new language)
* Up to date with modern web technologies (responsive design, ajax, html5, css3 etc)
* Familiar with online visibility aspects (SEO, social, feeds, product markup etc)
* English speaking (Swedish is optional)

In recent yers we have prioritized back-end development at the cost of an outdated front-end. We are currently working on new back-bone structures and also new web products and therefore need to expand our team with a front-end oriented developer.

We are, however offering the opportunity to work in different sections of our applications ranging from big data harvesting to estimations, projections and pricing logics. Your skills and motivation decide.

--- Good-to-have skills

* Experience with PHP framework (zend, cake etc)
scm and/or svn experience (git etc)
* Coding experience in/with:
- Python
- MongoDB and/or Redis
- Hadoop
- MySQL
- eCommerce platform(s) (Magento/ZenCart)
* Distributed systems
* Large scale data harvesting
* An analytic out-of-the-box mind for data processing, analysis and best-effort algorithms

We have been in online retail since 2006. E-commerce is rapidly changing and in order to keep up we rely more and more on clever algorithms on the backend side with automated procedures for big data gathering, market analysis, product creation, dynamic pricing and more.

Front-end wise there is plenty to be done in order to stay up to speed with recent development. We aim to add a more shopper customized experience for our visitors requiring a non-traditional and exciting development mindset.

Scandianvian Luxury AB was founded by two computer engineers fresh out of school in late 2006. Initially we sold exclusive wristwatches on the Scandinavian market (Uret.se). We have since then added a wider product range, expanded to more markets and opened two more selling platforms for jewelry (Lamastone.com) and vintage watches (Vintagewatchagency.com).

The business is rapidly growing and thanks to our efforts on development in the right place rather than advertisement spednings our company is now the largest online retailer in Scandianvia for watches and the company has been profitable since the start.

We are currently ten people working in a free-from fashion from our spacious office on Götgatan in central Stockholm.
