Role description
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be part of a small passionate department covering Linux provisioning, Load Balancers, Monitoring, Log system, CDNs, DNS, and Virtualisation to deliver the best technical platform for Unibet. Infrastructure Services is responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure systems within Unibet. The role will work closely with areas such as architecture, design, project, implementation and third-line support to Operations.
Key accountabilities of this role are
Drive the development of the technical platform forward from a non-functional perspective.
System ownership and review the technical portfolio.
Build automation and deliver a scalable IT-infrastructure.
Act third-line to Operations team and work with knowledge transfer.
Take different roles in various projects, from hands-on technical to Project Management.
Generate documentation for knowledge sharing.
Work with problem Management and capacity planning on regular basis.
Create designs, road maps and strategies aligned with the Company vision.
We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience
A minimum of 5 years of work experience with Linux.
A broad IT-Infrastructure background.
Drive new technical projects & solutions.
Experience with Translating functional & Business needs to non-functional requirements.
A genuine background in online 24/7 Enterprise platform.
One or more from the following will be a plus
Automation / Orchestration
Load balancing
Scripting /development knowledge
Datacentre and hardware management
Virtualization
