The position we offer

The department has responsibility for a number of systems and applications in a very diverse technology landscape. The Swedish unit is responsible for the Swedish legacy system KND and Avtal (agreement system), but also a number of smaller systems.

As an IT Analyst in our team you will act as epic driver for Swedish and Nordic requests coming to our Customer Master Data domain. You are also expected to act as an IT Analyst in the Swedish team for changes being implemented locally.

You will have a key role to support business in maximising customer value by clarifying functional and non-functional requirements to enable sustainable solutions to be carried out in the different delivery streams in the domain.

We are moving towards an agile set-up, and as an epic driver you will be a key in our success of the transformation journey. You will work in close cooperation with business partners/product owners, the domain architects, and our delivery streams in all countries.

This set-up allows Nordea to capitalise on the most important information assets and to share this information across the group and with stakeholders, resulting in great business results (CSI and ROE) and compliance to set standards.

We are offering a position where you will get to be part of the continuous adjustments to our future requirements. Nordea is currently working on delivery of a common, Nordic Core Banking Platform that supports the core functions of banking.

The preferred location for this position is Stockholm, Gothenburg is however also a potential alternative. Some travelling is to be expected.

The qualifications you need

You are a skilled analyst and are able to translate strategy and business requirements into concrete roadmaps and actions. Understanding from Masterdata management is beneficial experience, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders with high level of integrity is essential.

The unit has many stakeholders in all business areas and you will need to be very good at communicating clearly with delivery teams, product owners, business partners, and other partners on the IT side. You are fluent in English, and you need to speak and understand Swedish.

Together with the domain architects, product owners and delivery streams you can balance conflicting requirements to the solutions, and find the right approach to move forwards towards the target vision.

The ability to structure and document requirements as well as improving processes within the domain, are key skills to ensure a current and consistent overview of the application landscape. You have proven agile methodology skills.

You have broad experience of many different technologies and platforms including modern platforms based on Java, but also older technologies like mainframe platforms. Experience with service-oriented architecture, agile development methods and different integration patterns are also needed.

You have high social skills including the capability of working with people with focus on cooperation and a positive attitude, enjoying working with new tools and systems within IT as a continuously changing area of expertise.
