System Tester (139550)

Description

Component Development Unit (CDU) is a recently established development organization within DU Network Functions and Cloud, a DU within BUCI.

The CDU is a corner stone of the Ericsson platforms and components strategy and covers 80% of the CBA (Component Based Architecture) product portfolio.

The CDU consists of over 500 employees and is a global organization with main governance in Sweden, but with operations in Hungary, Canada, India, Russia, Australia and Vietnam.

The eVIP unit within the CDU has full responsibility complete product life cycle including studies, feature development and maintenance. We work very closely between the different disciplines in an agile setup.

Continuous improvement, team work, technical excellence are key words for us.

To manage future development, along with an Ericsson-wide deployment in many different applications, we need to strengthen our development team with a senior system tester.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate that is a real team player, have a flexible mindset and is open minded to take on new tasks. You will bring qualifications and value to the team by:

-being passionate about Software Testing
-having the desire to improve product and solution quality
-wanting to enhance automation and take the next steps in Continuous Integration
-living up to the Ericsson core values and behaviors

We also expect that you have good technical knowledge in all of the following areas:

-Linux OS
-IP Network Protocols and routing: IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, VRRP, BFD, IP tables, IP Routes, IP Rules
-Git or other version control system
-Test tools and scripting, e.g. Bash/Tcsh, Python, Java
-Testing principles

Experience in the following fields is an advantage:

-Load Balancing
-Distributed systems/clusters
-Virtualization
-IPsec
-Jenkins
-Performance/characteristics testing
-ISTQB certificate
