At Soundtrap we put a strong emphasis on design and experiences, we believe that the design profession plays a vital role to create a successful product. Since we are growing rapidly we now have some open positions for Interaction and UX people to join our mission. As a UX designer with focus on research you will be having an important role as the user?s advocate in understanding and improving the user experience as a whole.
Keeping track of user journeys across different devices, iterating and improving user flows for different target groups and stakeholders
Managing user testing activities on different scales in different parts of the service (onboarding, signup, acquisition, new features etc.) with appropriate tools (eg. usertesting.com) and deliver continous synthesis on findings and improvements
Creating documentation for presenting qualitative findings, user journeys, and making the knowledge accessible to the team
Extracting findings and user patterns from semi-qualitative measurements (surveys etc.)
Planning and executing user research activities ad hoc (in context observations, face to face interviews, interview calls)
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, Human Computer interaction, or equivalent
Able to create high level or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, sketches, wireframes to effectively communicate UX ideas
At least 2 years of experience in user experience research
Strong experience in qualitative methods, basic understanding of quantitative concepts
A plus if you:
Are interested and updated in the quantitative metrics and proposing new metrics to improve user experience
Have Interests connected to music creation and/or education (ed-tech)
Experience with concepts of service design, and knowledge of methods to analyze complex systems of user interactions
