One of Net Insight’s newest products is our Nimbra VA 220 solution, designed for video and engineered for the Internet. It is a compact solution for encoding and transport of live video over unreliable public IP connections. We now want to strengthen our team with one more talented developer to join us in our exciting journey shaping the future of media!
ABOUT THE POSITION
You will be joining our Video Appliance team with members who are experts within video. We are a small team where everyone is responsible for the whole solution from design, implementation and testing and we are now in need to strengthen our team. A future challenge will be virtualization and cloud- based media delivery where you will have the opportunity to contribute with your virtualization skills. You could also contribute with your expertise within e.g. C++ programming, embedded systems, automated testing in Python or video encoding and decoding.
In addition to this, the team also owns its own continuous improvements, always striving to learn to do new things in a better way!
The position is a permanent employment, full time and based at Net Insight’s headquarters in Stockholm.
YOUR BACKGROUND
At least 3 years of working experience
Solid experience of C++ development and experience of object oriented systems
Good knowledge of Linux and embedded systems
Experience of working in an agile environment
Virtualization techniques in Linux environments/ on a cloud platform
Continuous integration and test driven development
Video and audio processing, encoding, decoding and transmission
It is beneficial if you have experience of any of the following
