Overview
SCA is strategically focusing on the Hygiene and Forest business and is driving to enable operational excellence through harmonization and integration of key business processes.
To strengthen our digital capabilities, we are searching for a Solution Architect (m/f) driving the conceptual design and supporting digital projects during requirement gathering and implementation phase.The Solution Architect will be responsible to define a Reference Architecture, drive for harmonization, simplification and adapt to best practices to have fully integrated solutions in a heterogeneous IT landscape.
The Solution Architect will work with business and IT stakeholders as well as external partners and will be located in Munich (Ismaning) or Gothenburg.

Main Tasks
This role will have a multi-disciplined and cross functional coordination role focus on ensuring architecture strategies move seamlessly into successful execution. To achieve this, the key activities and stakeholder engagements will be:

Lead the IT architecture analysis, design and implementation
Collaborate with numerous stakeholders and other solution architects to develop design specifications that will improve the performance, usability, and effectiveness of customer facing interfaces
Review and integrate the architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments
Develop a reference architecture of architecture standards and in management of exceptions to the standards
Document development efforts and code changes on an on-going basis
Ensure scalable and efficient technical solutions supporting both customer and internal connectivity
Hold presentations in front of non-technical decision makers

Key Competencies
Key experiences we are looking for are more than ten years of working experience in IT development and business analysis in digital market facing applications like e-commerce, multiple global brand web sites, B2B sites, B2C e-commerce sites, loyalty and mobile app business. Ideally this experience was gained within the FMCG or CPG industry.
You will also need to be a strong communicator. You have the gift to translate technically complex information to something that a non-technical person can understand crystal clear.  
Furthermore, we would like you to have/be:

a University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
ability to produce application development artifacts like design specifications, sequence diagrams and entity relationship diagrams
strong understanding and knowledge of .NET, Web Services, WCF, MVC, Patterns and web frameworks
experience in DevOps and Agile Development practices
a strong commercial understanding of where potential value opportunities exist through effective IT architecture
Must possess demonstrable experience with the following:

MVC ASP.NET, C#, Design Patterns
Work experience in Microsoft IIS architecture
Hands on Experience working with Azure Cloud offering like IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
Hands on Experience working with Digital Marketing SaaS offering like Bazaarvoice, OrderGroove
Developing / Implementing Apps Consuming Web Services
REST Services, Web Services, SOA, XML
Experience with MS SQL Server Transact SQL is a plus
Experience with PowerShell is a plus
Experience in content modeling with SDL Tridion or another CMS is a plus

Fluent in English, both written and oral
Ability to travel (50-75%)
