The engineers at Meltwater Search Center of Excellence in Gothenburg create kick ass document enrichment, indexing and search systems for the Meltwater product line, which consists of hosted applications for getting insights out of data outside the company firewall. We process billions of editorial and social media documents every day by using state-of-the-art technologies and a lot of expensive hardware.

We are now looking for a contributing team manager for the development team of currently 8 engineers. You have worked as a developer yourself for many years and would like to take on the additional challenge of also developing other people. Your personal traits include an eagerness to learn and deliver to high standards and you want to work in a team that uses state of the art technology to solve challenging problems. You like to participate and share your ideas with others and are for sure active in Open Source Communities.

You will have an advantage if you have worked with Java, Groovy, Elasticsearch, Gradle, RabbitMQ, Riak, Redis. Experience in web based UI development, Ruby or Microsoft technologies other than Rx will not help you much in this job.

Since the Gothenburg office is only one of six Meltwater development centers, there will be opportunities to travel and work abroad.
