When you take on a role as Business Intelligence & Process Specialist in the new and growing unit Group Functions Information & Reporting (GFIR), you get an excellent opportunity to be involved from the very start and form a strong team, with clear objectives to deliver outstanding value for Nordea in accordance with the new operating model.

GFIR is the receiving unit for the information and reporting related parts of the simplification outcome delivered by the Group Functions Simplification Programme, and we act as the link between Business and IT. Our mission is to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, organisation and platform.

The position we offer

As a business intelligence specialist you will translate business requirements into functional designs. You will work towards the business areas as well as with our IT department as a link between reporting and IT.

Your main responsibilities will be:

-Scoping/maturation of projects and improvements.
-Business driver or Solution Matter Expert in projects and for improvements.
-Support defect analysis with expert knowledge.
-Sign-off of functional designs and data quality tests.
-Ensure alignment to business architecture.
-Provide end user support to customers in Group Functions and Business Areas.

The qualifications you need

You are an analytical person with high motivation, result orientation and drive to deliver with high quality and on time.

We are seeking a high-performing individual with the following qualifications:

-Academic degree in finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering.
-Analytical Database skills, experience in data analysis, BI tools and the usage of SQL scripts or SAS.
-Experience of working with data flows to and from DWs.
-Business Knowledge within Banking.
-Work in groups as well as drive tasks independently.
-Good presentation and communication skills.
-Proficiency in English.
