Optolexia is a fresh startup company based in Stockholm and a part of the startup community SUP46. Would you like to join us on our mission to create the best tool for the early and accurate identification of children with reading difficulties? Then this is a huge opportunity! The focus is on developing a method for early recognition of dyslexia, in which frond-end development is a key success factor. Our work involves the shaping of a technically advanced product derived from scientific research – one that includes machine learning and eye tracking – into a smart, user friendly and inspiring tool for teachers, school boards and Optolexia staff globally. And this is where you'll be playing an important part.
About the position
You will be responsible for our front-end web application, which is our primary channel towards both new and existing clients, as well as our own staff. Our platform is cloud based through Azure, with a front-end developed in React/Redux with a REST based back-end. You're invited to take part of the entire workflow; from concept studies to planning, prototyping, developing, testing and on through to the eventual product launch. As we are a fast-growing startup, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and improvement of products, architecture and development team.
Who are we looking for?
You are someone who are excited to use your abilities to create a successful company, while also helping teachers and children across the globe to gain a deeper understanding of reading difficulties. We are looking for a curious, analytical, responsible and communicative team player who is ready to make an effort when the situation demands it.
Technical Requirements:
At least 2-3 years’ experience of working as a developer
Good programming skills in Javascript development and current web standards HTML and CSS
Experience of user interface design
Relevant higher education within IT and/or computer technology
Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Nice to have:
Experience with React
Experience of ASP.NET/C#

Our main market is Sweden where our biggest customer is Stockholm Stad, but we will expand to other countries during the year to come for example USA and the UK.
