To be successful in this work it is very important that you have the ability to find the right balance between security and business mindset in a professional manner. You are expected to drive certification activities, security related development and process activities, and to manage the connections with the important industry players such as MasterCard, VISA, and EMVCo. Knowledge and experience from similar positions that can be translated into a proactive approach are highly valued. Experience of Information Security Management with an international focus is a requirement.

Main activities:
Lead security certification activities: collect and analyze security requirements, provide compliance suggestions, oversee implementation
Be the main point of contact towards partners and customers regarding security issues
Advise the development team in security related matters
Develop and maintain a company-wide Information Security Policy, including a security incident response plan
Security risk analysis and management
Ensure that information security is addressed as a business issue across Fidesmo
Monitor changes in industry-relevant legislation and certification

Mandatory skills:
Know yourself around PCI/PA certifications
Strong technical background
Experience with Unix systems
Fluency in English

Desired skills:
Software development
Systems administration
Web services deployment
Digital payments systems
Smart card technology
Cryptography-based standards and systems

Education:
Computer Science, engineering or similar degree
Security certifications (SSCP, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, etc) are a plus

The role is an independent role where you will initially report to the CEO. It is a security rated position and you will therefore need to go through the necessary checks. Travel is a natural part of this role.
