Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

As a Java Developer you are welcome to join us to:

- take part in system designing, improving and coding bank applications;
- do software diagnosis and troubleshooting;
- strive for zero bugs in production;
- work closely with other developers, analysts, architects and different groups across Swedbank;
- participate in peer code reviews & knowledge sharing;
- promote good ideas and constantly improve your daily work;

We expect that You:

- find our values - open, simple and caring - natural for you;
- have university degree in computer science or similar;
- wish to work in international team and use English as a working language;
- have an experience in development projects;
- have at least couple of years of experience in application development;
- have strong Java programing skills and related technologies;
- have an experience with some of the following: Hibernate, Spring, Ruby, Javascript, web user-interface programming, PL/SQL is an advantage;
- are familiar with Unix;
- are ready for business trips.
