Integration Services within Sandvik IT is a global delivery service function responsible for technical operations, solution design, development and maintenance, covering several different integration technologies, such as WebSphere MQ, Biztalk, Streamserve, Java and internally developed solutions. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Solution Architect for a role with interesting challenges and great development possibilities. The location for this position is Sandviken.

Job Summary
As a Solution Architect you ensure that the integration solutions developed are in adherence with the integration technology landscape, principles and policies. You understand customer requirements and are able to transform them into concrete solution designs. You develop policies and best practices to support the integration development and Application Management teams to provide high quality integration solutions. You also take part in projects and support project managers in detailing the technical requirements as well as conduct solution reviews in order to support the consolidation and harmonization of Sandviks Integration landscape. You have a technology agnostic view on Integration and are able to coach and support solution architects and technicians within the respective integration technology area. You also work together with the Domain and Enterprise Architects to identify new integration technologies and solutions that are essential for achieving business objectives.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in IT and excellent skills in the area of Enterprise Application/Data/Process Integration. You have good understanding of cloud computing and API Management/Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). It is desirable to have at least five years’ experience within the Integration domain, with very good understanding of common integration patterns and their pros and cons. Understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) integration is considered advantageous, while excellent architecture, presentation and documentation skills are a prerequisite. Hands on experience within one or more integration middleware technologies (e.g. Microsoft BizTalk, WebSphere MQ) are a prerequisite for this role. The ideal candidate is proficient in both Swedish and English.
