The company has offices in Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger, Tønsberg, Molde and Kristiansund in Norway and a branch office in Teesside, UK.
Techconsult AS operates nationally and internationally in markets within the Offshore, Energy, Construction, Shipbuilding and land-based industry.
For Norwegian national and international oriented clients, we are looking for strong JAVA Software Developers interested in further personal and professional development.
Qualification Requirements:
Preferred candidates have a bachelor or master degree or equivalent within IT and at least 2 - 5 years relevant Java experience within their field of expertise.
Longer documented experience can to some extent compensate for formal education.
- Good knowledge and experience of Java SE, Java EE, Maven, Ant, JUnit, Hibernate, SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience from integrated development platforms like NetBeans/Eclipse
- Good knowledge of Spring, JSON and SOAP web services, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and Linux.
- The ambition and ability to write well designed and documented code.
- Experience in maintaining solutions within different technologies and platforms.
- Good English linguistic skills. We would prefer candidates with Norwegian language but this is not mandatory.
- Strong technical skills and able and eager to learn new technologies and methods quickly.
- Experience from Scrum or other agile methodologies is an advantage.
