Backend Engineer

Our systems and services are in a state of continuous development and improvement and we wish to keep things that way. If you have experience with distributed systems and service oriented architecture for scalable web services it would be a big plus. Other buzzwords are: micro architecture, scala, tdd, stateless, cassandra, events.

We are building a globally distributed video streaming platform and all that it entails as far as infrastructure, architecture, operations, latency, reliability, uptime and so on. As developers we need to build software that will handle humongous™ load while still keeping low response times and correctness. We want our systems to be up for the challenges of the real world and we want you to join us in making it happen.

At Magine, we’re dedicated to connecting fantastic TV to audiences in any corner of the globe. We deliver some of the world’s top TV brands directly to consumers, and partner with creators and distributors to enable them through every aspect of setting up their own OTT service. We’re passionate about great content and our mission is to protect generations of creativity to come through high quality, safe and legal distribution.

We are a diverse group of around 120 people sitting in Stockholm (HQ), Berlin and London. Everyone is equal and all ideas and opinions count. Flexibility in working and mind are important to be a part of a team in which change is, and will, happen constantly. We speak English and fika in Swedish.
