&frankly is looking for a seasoned Back-End developer who can head up the platform team in the future, as we grow our team and continue to deliver on our product roadmap. To excel in this role at &frankly, you must value high quality and clean code, and be ready to tackle the task of refactoring our current codebase based on the LAMP stack. You likely know more than one programming language and can help us decide on what our next stack will be. You can write stable and well-structured code, with clear logical separations that will allow us to grow both with additional developers and new customers.
To take on the responsibility of building a great platform we believe you also are well versed in everything needed to architect a SaaS solution and things like scaling, load balancing, security, caching, message queues & databases, continuous integration/translation, automated testing, APIs, data engineering and enterprise standards like SAML, OAuth etc. are things you have probably read about in your spare time. You are also excited about the challenge of building an awesome tech team that will be able to create a service handling real-time traffic from millions of users replying to questions, and continuously generating useful insights from the data we are amassing.

- 4+ years professional experience working with PHP
- Uses modern technologies in general
