Tester to a large store expansion planning system!

Are you a senior Tester with interest of new technology? We need to strengthen our team with testers experienced in test automation, development and the agile way of working.

We are now looking for a tester for the store- and store project master system with at least 5 years of experience and good understanding of QA work and understanding and insights within programming and test automation. We see you as being communicative and that you are a person that does not hesitate in bringing new views and ideas that can help improving the system.

The person we are looking for will be a part of a senior team building the new store expansion planning system called IPS with new technology. The assignment consists of both working with manual testing and automation of tests in Interiors test automation framework. You will work as a tester/ test developer in an agile team that today consist of 20 people. Develop the test automation framework and analyze the test result from the test executions. You will work close together with the test leader, requirement specifier, system responsible and developers. Collaboration with e.g. other test leaders may occur in limited time frames.

Service area Interior supports the Interior department with tools required to manage the store expansion. Interiors responsibility is to create the most commercial stores in a cost efficient way and at the pace that the expansion goals require. This work includes development and design of interior products, planning and layout of each individual store and purchase of the interior products (Noncommercial goods).

Your responsibilities

The job as a Tester at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun. Main tasks:

- Develop the test automation framework and analyze the test result from the test executions.
- Regression-, system-, integration- and exploratory- tests is part of the daily work.
- Participate in test and team meetings to discuss new requirements, development progress, test challenges, delivery status and share work related knowledge.
- Regularly status and information meetings with other testers, system architect, requirement analyst, developers and system responsible. Developers and testers work both onsite and offshore but in separate teams.
- Understand H&M Development Practices and guidelines
- The development team work agile, in combination with “best practice”.

- 5 years’ experience or more in a similar role. You have some year’s knowledge and experience with testing advanced IT systems
- Have good knowledge in Microsoft products and techniques
- Have good ability in communicating in problems and solutions
- Have the ability to work independently and be active in getting the correct information to solve your assignments
- You have attention to details, but without losing the general picture.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate about problems and solutions.
- You are good both in speech and writing in English. Swedish language skills are meriting.
