Data Warehouse DevOps Engineer

SKF is accelerating its BI/DW initiatives in order to better serve our business stakeholders and end users in the area of decision making. You will be part of the first in-house Data Warehouse DevOps team in SKF, an exciting journey where you will form and build the future BI/DW solutions at SKF.

This would mean that you:
•Collaborate closely with business to understand requirements and functionality needed
•Collaborate with business in Proof of Concepts
•Work with Agile solution development (SCRUM like)
•Manage solution tests: unit testing, integration testing and UAT
•Manage Transition to production
•Work with Operational solution maintenance
•Configure components and optimize the platform performance
•Are part of 3’rd level end user and technical support upon request
•Safeguard and help to continuously refine the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse framework

Key responsibilities:

•Operational activities
?Solution/technical platform maintenance
?Solution/technical platform and process support

•Govern the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse framework, incl roadmap

Job Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years of technical higher education or equivalent in the area of Computer Science
•A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Data Warehouse developing including all or parts of ?Programming languages (C#, PL/SQL, XML, C, C++, Java etc)
?Database SQL Server (2008 ->)
?Development environments (MS Visual Studio.Net, etc)
?Technologies (ODBC, Stored Procedures, XML etc)

•Knowledge and at least 3 years of experience of developing and maintaining SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
•Excellent data modelling skills
•Methodology knowledge such as RUP and SCRUM is a clear advantage
•Informatica (Informatica Power Center) experience is an advantage
•SAP BI solution experience is an advantage
