Senior Database Administrator

For our System Operations Team in Mariehamn, we are now recruiting a Senior Database Administrator

The System Operations Team in Mariehamn is responsible for installing/maintaining infrastructure and software supporting Paf's internet business.

Your main focus will be working with our database software which primarily consists of Oracle Database and your work will also include MySql, MS Sql and Oracle Middleware.

You will be working in a team with highly skilled professionals, and in your role as Senior Database Administrator your tasks will be making sure our database infrastructure is working in an optimal way regarding performance and high availability.
You will also be supporting our developers in their day to day tasks.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of DBA experience.
- Experience with Oracle Database and Oracle data guard
- Working knowledge of Oracle DBA best practices.
- Working query and database tuning skills.
- Experience in a 24x7 production environment.

To your advantage:
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
- Capacity monitoring and management capabilities.
- PLSQL and SQL skills.
- MySql/MariaDB/MS Sql Knowledge
- Vmware virtualization
- Oracle Middleware Knowledge

- Must be able to multi-task, planning several events simultaneously
- Fast troubleshooting and resolution skills.
- Think for yourself, setting priorities and work according to them.
- Ability to keep focus and stay calm while working under pressure.
- Proven collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
