Are you a passionate Back-end system developer with experience in Big Data, looking for a new and interesting project?
Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

**** Back-end system developer, Big Data ****
For our customer we are looking for a back end engineer, with focus on Big Data. The team you will work with provides backend solutions for collection and analysis of diagnostics data from our clients products. Typical daily tasks relate to the entire handling of the solutions in these areas, i.e. requirements analysis, design, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support.

You are expected to have a university degree in Computer Science or similar, have good communication skills and enjoy working individually as well as in teams. Your level of professional experience is of high interest although your personality in terms of being innovative, curious and passionate about your work is at least equally important.

We would like you to be skilled in the following areas:
• Ruby on Rails
• Database design and programming, preferably using PostgreSQL
• Python and/or other scripting languages
• Linux command line

Experience in the following areas is considered an advantage:
• Server operations
• Amazon Web Services
• SW crash analysis (Linux/Java/Android)
• Big Data programming using Hadoop, Spark or similar technologies
• Agile ways of working
• Usability and UI design

Start: February / Q1 2017.
Duration: 12-24 months on-site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
