ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Software Developer to our office in Malmö, Sweden.
In this role you will be working with the system software development in the areas of Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) and Individual Light Control and Monitoring System (ILCMS). Since this is our future main focus we are now strengthening our software team with a Software Developer.
We are a small specialized software team located in Malmö that work closely with our colleagues in other offices as well as with the hardware team.
This role will give you the possibility to be part of an ambitious and skilled software team, specialize in software and work in an international environment.

Position responsibilities:
We are in the process of developing common software platforms for our DGS and ILCMS real time systems as well as for our supporting tools. To give us a modern, maintainable software architecture. Our supporting tools is used at customer sites for commissioning, service and maintenance. This means that you will have opportunity to follow the product all the way from requirement specification to operation at the customer.
In this work we are looking for you as one of our software developer.
Your main responsibilities as a software developer include:
• Design, implement and verify product and system features
• During the design phase, subdivide development task into smaller, more manageable pieces.
• Work to meet project delivery dates
• Take an active role in development process improvements
• Pay attention to system safety and how to develop safety critical software
• Analyze and improve existing SW systems
Competencies:

Experience and background:
• Requires at least a Bachelor degree or equivalent, in a related Engineering discipline or Computer Science
• Thorough experience in embedded and “real-time” systems
• 5+ years of relevant programming experience
• Good knowledge of C++, C# and/or C
• Knowledge of object oriented design and patterns
• UML
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development practices
• Fluently speaking and writing in English and Swedish
