App Developer

The Position
We are looking for an App Developer to join our development team. You will work in cross-functional team and play an important role in the technical development of the platform.

The Challenge
Be part of a team focusing on develop the best advertising funded video on demand services in northern Europe
Further develop and maintain the smartphone app in a cross-functional team
Managing the whole life cycle, i.e. suggesting new features, implementation and maintain existing functionality
Working closely with other teams within Viaplay and Viafree
Develop engineering solutions aligned with technical- and product long-term visions by working closely with our product owners.

Your Profile
You have been/are working as an app developer for some years. You have experience from working in an environment where you are involved in the whole development process including design, complexity assessment, development, test and deployment.
At least 3 years experience from software development.
At least 2 years of experience in Java or Objective-C & Swift
Degree in computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent level of work experience.
Experience from building apps that are live on Play and Apple store.
Dedication to CI, automation and other efficient workflow-oriented practices.
Dedication to unit testing, code review and other quality-oriented practices.
