Associate Data Scientist

- Participate and drive advanced analytics discovery workshops, ensuring good business understanding, business & analytics success criteria and data requirements.
- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Selecting features, building and optimising classifiers using machine learning techniques
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Creating automated predictive analytics and anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
- Produce analytics assets to be used in go-to-market initiative

- Great communication skills
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Support Vector Machine, Neural networks and Decision Tree modelling, ARIMA(x), Random Forests, etc.
- Experience with some common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, SPSS (Statistics and Modeller), SAS, RapidMiner, etc
- Experience with data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, Shiny, matplotlib, etc.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
- Experience with at least one NoSQL database, such as Cloudant, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc
