Software Engineer to Soundtrack Your Brand

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Software Engineer to Soundtrack Your Brand's Business Systems team. 

Soundtrack Your Brand is built on the basic principles of being a lean and efficient start-up, but at the same time taking full advantage of Spotify's leading technology and brand. It is a completely independent start-up that has been developing a music streaming device for businesses since three years and are already the market leader with clients such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Intersport and KIT. The company was recently given $22 million in fresh funding and is now embarking on a quest for international growth. Previous investors, including Telia, Northzone and Creandum also took part in the latest financing round.

Soundtrack Your Brand is a small and tight team. At present they consist of about 70 employees located at their offices in Stockholm and Seattle. The development department is located at their Swedish office on Birger Jarlsgatan in downtown Stockholm. They are expanding and thus looking for a Software Engineer to join the Business Systems team.

As a key member of the Business Systems team you will play a central role in focusing on scalability and maintainability. You will be involved in the team's key decisions and share the responsibility to deliver superb billing, accounting, payments and integrations. You will drive large software intiatives utilising a variety of programming languages and platforms. The services are mainly written in Go, running on Google Cloud Platform and the frontend is written in JavaScript (ES6) and built around React and Redux. For reporting they use Google BigQuery and Tableau. 

The person Soundtrack Your Brand is looking for has been working as a Backend Developer for at least three years and has an interest in keeping up to date with the lates tools within the area. You have good knowledge of a financial software service like an ERP, payment provider, bank insurance or gambling platform. It is preferable but not required that you have experience of cloud hosted software development, either on Google, AWS or Azure. It is also a plus if you have previous experience of building payment-centric, robust and maintainable systems. You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You has an agile mindset and are familiar with agile development methods lika Scrum or Kanban.
