Tester (Södertälje,Sweden)

DESCRIPTION:
The project consists of a complex system map with 10 different subsystems that are all paired. The various subsystems have individual release plans and external dependencies. It involves a complex management of product versions with many different stakeholders.

The system called Flexible maintains creates flexible maintains plans for trucks and buses so workshops maintain in a leaner way.

There is an extensive global roll out plan, this means we need to integrate the Flexible maintains system toward several new DMS systems (Dealer management systems). To assure top quality we now need a tester for this task.

TASKS

- Test automation of web services mainly using Soap UI
- Planning, implementation and execution of exploratory testing.
- Perform manual system tests on multiple systems.
- Preparation of test data, test environments.
- Integration tests

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for someone who has a university degree in IT and worked for some years with testing and focus on web application testing. Technical knowledge is required and web service testing and test automation experience is a bonus. The person should have a good understanding of the system development life cycle.

We think the person has been working with test in agile environments and used methods such as Scrum or Kanban.

We want the tester to have experience from pre studies and experience similar complex projects with a lot of integration. The tester will work towards our customers in Germany and Brazil.

- Worked 3-5 years within the test area
- Coordinate test data and test environments
- Experience testing
- Database knowledge
- Experience of web service testing and or test automation
- Previous experience from setting up test automation framework.
- Experience with agile way of working
- Can work in a team
- Fluent in English, both oral and in writing
- Integration testing
- Experience from DMS system is positive

DURATION:
01 December 2014 with a rolling 3 month contract
