As a developer in the search and storage teams at Meltwater you'll be building and running state-of-the-art information retrieval systems using the latest technologies such as Elasticsearch, Riak, Redis and Docker.

If you get excited when talking about distributed systems at scale, when discussing small optimizations of a Lucene index or when innovating on new ways to gain insights from all the world's information then you'll love working with us.
Our stack consists of Java and Groovy with some Spring, RxJava and REST thrown in. Long experience with Java is however not a requirement, and we may indeed prefer a polyglot with a demonstrated history of rapidly acquiring new skills. Having an interest in Distributed Systems, Infrastructure-as-Code, Docker, Amazon AWS, Ruby, Python well as data analysis and indexing tools like NLP, NoSQL databases, RabbitMQ could also help you in this job.
