We’re looking for a skilled engineer with QA focus with experience in continuous integration and test automation.
Our most important software product, Tobii Pro Lab, used by universities, researchers and commercial actors around the globe is constantly developed and enhanced. We need you to be part of the product team! The product is used to design, conduct and analyze experiments centered around – but not limited to - eye tracking. Our customers bet their academic career or next marketing campaign on insights gained from our software, so we need to offer a very high quality product handling high volumes of data with microsecond timing resolution and precision.
We’re in it for the long haul. We do not take short cuts that may cause problems down the road. Clean and clear code and solutions is key, as we will maintain the code base for years to come. We are market leaders in our field and intend to strengthen our position even further.
The desktop product team is split in several scrum teams located in Stockholm and Kiev. The main language is English. Some travel is required, or at least desired.
The role and responsibilities
In this role, you will primarily work with Tobii Studio Lab, our scientific flagship product, maintaining and enhancing the QA pipeline. There will be some manual testing, and lots of work with our automated test suites and general quality work.
Your days will be filled with
- Developing test pipelines, writing tests, helping developers and PO understand the quality metrics for the upcoming features.
- Collaborating with teams in Stockholm and Kiev regarding implementation details, process improvements and collaboration efforts.
- Taking part in discussions on the future of the product and market.

We are looking for someone who
- Finds pleasure in writing tests and helping the organization excel in quality work.
- Understands testing frameworks and quality metrics.
- Is fluent in C# or equivalent language.
- Is familiar with and appreciates concepts like TDD, Scrum, agile methods
- Wants to deliver high quality software and is ready to walk the extra mile to actually do so.
We find it to be a strong merit if you have experience in/knowledge in/worked with automated UI level testing, build scripts, test automation, maybe some open source project, software architecture.
