We are looking for a data scientist or machine learning engineer with an interest in transforming healthcare. You will have a crucial role in our product development team where you’ll be unlocking valuable insights through large datasets that will later be implemented into clinical settings. Together with world leading professors and clinicians you will move the needle for treatment of osteoarthritis (chronic joint pain).

Our program for osteoarthritis treatment is well proven, evidence based and with strong underlying science. We have some of the best professors and PhDs within this area on our team. You will be exploring how you can build micro-services into our product to feed it with valuable insights through machine learning and statistics. This could be predicting patient outcomes, prescribing better treatment suggestions, classifying patient based on phenotypes etc.

  • You have the technical competence to perform advanced analytics: coding skills (such as Python, Java, R, and/or Scala), experience with analytics and machine learning tools (SQL, Pandas, SPSS, Hadoop, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, and/or Excel) and experience performing analysis with large datasets.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, databases and strong intuition for how to model and clean data is important.
  • You possess statistical competence (such as regression modelling, a/b testing, significance testing etc) and experience building machine learning systems (Bayesian inference, decision trees, gradient boosting, clustering, deep learning).
  • You have a deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense.
  • Bonus if you have experience and knowledge about healthcare, bioinformatics and epidemiology
