You will work in cross functional teams with developers from hardware, mechanics, specialists and manufacturing engineers using agile processes. To succeed in this role, you need to collaborate closely with your colleagues and have a genuine technical interest of our embedded systems.
Main responsibilities
- Develop our embedded systems and applications for our high-precision optical instruments.
- Develop high level instrument control functions such as vision, scanning, surveying and infrastructural parts of the system.
Required Skills
- MSc in Computer Science, electronics, mechatronics or physics or similar.
- 7 + years of development experience
- Comfortable developing code for embedded systems and applications in Windows using C, C++ and C#
- Interest of building system architectures. Understanding of system and application performance limits and characteristics.
- Good problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with software craftsmanship (such as unit test frameworks, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation)
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Desired skills
- Good mathematical skills
- Good knowledge of networking protocols (sockets, TCP/IP, DHCP)
- Good knowledge of communications stacks as wifi, BT, USB
- Development for Linux-based systems
