Capital and Risk IT solutions is responsible IT provider for Group Risk Management and Group Capital. The units are responsible for important areas in Nordea, with many requirements coming both from internally and externally. This makes it a very exciting, demanding and rewarding area to work in.
We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Solution Architect, to grow and excel as a Solution Architect, senior Developer and driver for one or several reporting solutions based on SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x Suite. The reporting solutions span different process areas within the bank such as Risk Management, Treasury, Finance and Operational Reporting.
You will be part of a strong IT-team, working cross border and through the value chains. The environment is highly professional, with much personal responsibilities. You will report to BCIO for Capital and risk IT solutions.

The job content
The Business Intelligence Solution Architect secures that development and maintenance is done in an optimal way. Development services are with offshore partners, and the Solution Architect needs to collaborate to drive the right long-term architecture.
Your responsibilities will be to secure the long term value in IT for the reporting solutions you are designing and supporting, and how this best fit into the landscape. The SAP BusinessObjects BI tools are strategic applications for regulatory and internal reporting, and your role will be to ensure existing and new technologies are used in an optimum and value creating way, to support the business need for new functionality, performance, reliability and cost efficiency.

You are expected to understand the business challenges and needs, and have a tight dialogue with our business partners to secure successful IT solutions. You are interested in developing IT technology, to support the business users. You have also a good architectural understanding, to be able to take decisions on best architecture.
The position is located in Stockholm. Some travel can be expected as the role and responsibilities are Nordic.
Personal
We expect you to deliver IT solutions that add value for the customers, establish good professional relationships with our internal and external partners, and have high capability to deliver in time and with quality.
Competencies
You have several years of relevant BI experience and deep technical skills as a developer and architect with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x Suite. In addition, you are also proficient in Data Warehouse design and different data modelling concepts, e.g. Kimball and Inmon.
Your ability for functional understanding is strong, where previous banking experience is an advantage. You are comfortable and inspired dealing with complex business requirements, high data volumes, advanced Universes and data models.
Experience from working with other BI tools in addition to SAP BusinessObjects BI, such as SAP BW, SAS, as well as experience from different database platforms, such as Teradata, Microsoft SQL and SAP HANA is an advantage.
The work includes many interactions internally and externally, why good communication skills, possibility to coach people, and well spoken and written English is necessary. We also expect that you have a relevant Bsc or higher degree.
