Software Engineer

Nexus products and services enable trusted identities for people and things. You will, as Software Engineer for NOS (Nexus Online Services) be part of a strong agile software development team, that are about to develop a next generation ordering and production platform. We now seek a solid software developer that can take part in the creation of this new platform, from architecture to implementation, testing and support. The engineer will develop both back-end services as well as some front-end, and will be an integral part of the design of the end-to-end user experience and security architecture. You are a team player with a great ability to learn new domains.

You will be part of a product team with the ability to influence. The Nexus software team is a dynamic, positive team that collaborates with other product teams at Nexus in Stockholm, Ettlingen and Dusseldorf.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the design and implementation of the new platform including database design.
• Develop strategies for test automation and deployment.
• Be passionate about creating secure and user-friendly solutions.
• Be part of the development during the full life-cycle of the system.

Skills

• 3+ Years' experience as a software engineer.
• All round coding skills with focus in JAVA.
• Solid knowledge in database design and SQL.
• Experience in frameworks such as Dropwizard, Play, Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience in MS Azure (or Amazon Web Services).
• Solid knowledge in REST API development.
• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, css.
• Experience in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is meritable.
• Experience working with Version Control tools: Git
• JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge in PHP is meritable.
• Experience in test automation.
• Great ability to learn new domains.
