Database Developer to Trustly

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Database Developer to Trustly.

Trustly is a young, fast growing and modern tech company that provides a solution for online banking payments. They are at the forefront within the payment industry with the goal of making online payments safer, easier and more convenient for both the merchants, consumers and the banks. Currently the company's payment solutions are offered by more than 800 online stores in Europe and they are expanding rapidly. In 2015 they doubled their revenue and FinTech London named them one of the most influential technology companies within the financial world. They have also been ranked as one of the fastest growing tech companies in Sweden by Deloitte. At present Trustly consists of about 160 employees and they are located at their headquarter at Odenplan, Stockholm.

Trustly is expanding an thus looking for several sharp database developer. You will be a part of the talented database team consisting of ten developers specialized in PostgreSQL, PL/pgsql and pure SQL. As a key member of the database team your main task will be developing, maintaining and specializing the existing databases and transaction systems. The team works in an agil environment and you will have a leading role in the further development.

The person Trustly is looking for has a passion for technology, at least three years of experience within database development and experience of SQL. Since the backend consists of PostgreSQL, mainly PL/pgsql but also PL/perl, it is preferable that you have experience of these technologies, as well as Linux. You may also have experience of Oracle or Microsoft, but what is most important is that you are interested in specializing within SQL and eager to learn. It is an advantageous, but not necessary, that you have experience of various programming languages, a relevant education and are able to communicate in Swedish.

As a person you are self-motivated, analytical and have a desire to constantly evolve. At the same time, you are team-focused, prestige-less and communicative with a great curiosity about new technologies.
