Microsoft AX Developer

Responsibilities:

All technology aspects of Microsoft Dynamics AX design, installation, development, documentation, and support.
Analyzing business specifications and converting these into technical specifications
Participating in defining system design, data model and architecture.
Providing requirement analysis & effort estimates for the development of new features or customization of existing features.
Performing coding/programming tasks to specification and in accordance with development standards
Developing test plans and participating in code testing to ensure workability, completeness and quality
Providing on-going implementation/production support.
Develop SQL Reporting Services Reports
Performing code promotion activities to ensure the synchronization of all environments.
Assisting in the development of standards and deployment of applications
Providing analysis of the implementation standards and recommendations on the usage of standard features
Devising new models, processes and procedures
Regularly performing moderately complex coding/programming and debugging
Integrating logic and understanding of business operations and applying them in performing coding functions
Participating in and contributing to peer code reviews and design sessions
Participating in and contributing to system integration testing

Job Specifications:

6-8 years’ experience in creating, implementing, and supporting custom software applications
5+ years’ experience in Dynamics AX.
Ability to comprehend the business requirements and suggest technical solutions accordingly.
Experience in developing solutions with X++, XML, SSRS, and SQL Server
Experience with Software Development Processes (Agile, RUP, Iterative, etc.)
Experience in using Source Code Control Management (ClearCase, TFS, Visual Source Safe, etc.)
Experience with the integration of AX with other applications
Ability to deliver and adhere to deadlines
Strong leadership and communication skills
AX 2009 certifications is a plus
AX 2012 experience /certification is a plus
