Senior Backend Developer to the Pension Team

In brief
We in The Pension Team (or Team PRO as we call ourselves) are looking for a kick ass Senior Java Backend Developer. Our vision is to create the best experience for our pension customers, companies and private persons, and make sure that Nordnet is the no. 1 choice when you are looking for pension products. We work mainly towards our insurance system Inca, but we also have an interface towards our corporate clients and some components on our website. We have the full responsibility to take an idea from start to finish. Currently we are a full-stack development team with a scrum master and a co-located product owner. 

Our development environment is Windows or Mac and Linux, and our test and production environments are Red Hat Linux. Our Continuous Delivery process makes it possible for us to deploy to production at any time so your work will take effect immediately.

Background
Previous experienceand/or interest in pensions and the Inca insurance system is a strong merit.  You are comfortable to work with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP), Test Driven Development and Linux environment. You have a MSc in Computer science or similar. 

Most probably you are well founded in the majority of the following:

• REST
• L.I.D principles
• Frameworks
• Spring (Boot, Core, Web)
• jUnit
• REST Assured

Tools
We use Git and Jira for our daily work. You choose if want to use Mac or Windows and what IDE you prefer. You are familiar with issue tracking, web based hosting for projects and team collaboration software.

This is part of the role
The “what & when” is handled by our product owner, and the “how” is taken care of by us.

All members of the team collaborate closely regardless of role in bringing value to our customers. You will participate in development, from idea to production launch. This includes refinement of requirements, design, development, highly automated test and deployment.
