We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to become part of our growing team of designers at Stunlock Studios. Here at Stunlock Studios, we are developing competitive and community driven games, always with the players in focus. We are looking for a passionate and creative designer with programming skills and a deep knowledge in many prevalent game systems and mechanics.

What you will do
Work closely in a team of passionate game designers to bring ideas to life. You will participate in the design and implementation process of new features and systems as well as in improving and pushing existing features to a new level.
Use our rigorous gameplay-tools to script and implement new mechanics including but not limited to gameplay interactions, AI and game-modes.
Participate in gameplay tests to evaluate and improve mechanics, gameplay-balance and player-feedback.
Analyze data and communicate with players to get a deeper understanding of the state of the features and systems you’re involved in.

What we’re looking for
Essential
Battlerite enthusiast, a deep understanding of the game and an even better understanding of what could make it better
Passion for online competitive multiplayer games
You have the ability to break down game-systems and can understand why games and systems you don’t like can be appreciated by other players
Good understanding of one or several programming languages, preferably C#
You have good communication skills, able to accurately present your thinking both in written form as well as verbally.

Desirable
You are experienced in C# and have been part of one or several projects working as a technical designer or a programmer.
You have a good feel for visuals and audio in games. You understand how all pieces can come together to make a feature or system feel complete.
You are a competitive player, you outshine the average Joe in most games you’re playing and always strive to become better at what you do, and what you play.
You are experienced in Unity3D
