Tools engineer - backend

The Tobii Tech Platform team is constantly growing and reaching new heights. The tech team is looking for a Backend developer who will play the central part in the development stage of the internal tools and services used within Tobii Tech.

As a backend developer at the Tobii Tech team you will be part of an experienced, fun, and hard working team. Together you will push the development of the internal tools further and constanly grow. Come join us!

The role and responsibilities

As a part of the Tobii Tech Platform Tools team, your primary work would consist of maintaining and improving the tools and practices used when handling our internal cloud based services. You would also take part in the long term planning and development of our distributed execution framework and it's supporting services towards excellent performance in the face of continuously increasing demands.

Your days will be filled with:
•Working with and improving containers and provisioning tools to ensure operational stability and consistency in our fleet of virtual machines.
•Maintaining and improving a wide range of different tools used within Tobii Tech Platform.
•Sharing knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools with the rest of the team.

We are looking for someone who
•Is experienced with some type of containerization technology, for example Docker.
•Has solid Python and Linux experience.

We find it strongly meriting if you have worked with cloud service provisioning before, preferably Microsoft Azure. Basic web development and/or PowerShell experience would also be of benefit.
