We are looking for a Visual and/or Motion Designer, who is responsible for the visual and ideally also the motion design of our photography applications - from concept to final implementation. As a Visual and/ or Motion Designer you - Create user interface designs for photography applications, working with interaction designs, information architectures and interaction flows - Work closely with business program leads, product designers, software developers, prototypers and usability experts to iterate the design until it's fit for market. - Deliver visual/motion design specifications and ensure good fit and finish of final Product You would join our UX design team and work in cross-disciplinary teams with Interaction, Visual and Motion designers as well as prototyping and usability experts and project management. Our mission is to design and ship photography-related applications that consumers love to use. We do our creative work in a supportive and fun environment. Your role: Based on user and business requirements and your creative inspiration, you will create desirable interface designs across a range of device platforms. You will be able to effectively communicate these designs with Product Management and Engineering teams, and to deliver the final product through design specifications and the fit and finish process. You need to understand the world of visual communication, what users love across a range of markets and products, and be ready to adjust your designs according to study findings. You also need to understand Microsoft's visual design approach and work with guidelines to create desirable interface designs. You should be able to travel abroad, for example to observe consumer research or to discuss design requirements with our business partners.

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: Degree related to Visual Design or Motion Design or similar. - Significant professional experience designing user interfaces for shipping applications and services. Our senior designers demonstrate design capabilities usually taking more than 8+ years to acquire. - Experience designing for Windows or other modern smartphone platforms - Portfolio of compelling visual/motion design work - Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: especially Illustrator, Flash, AfterEffects and Photoshop. - Excellent visual communications skills. - Great collaboration and communications skills (verbal and written English). Experience designing and working with developers of ecosystems such as Windows Phone, iOS or Android. - Ability to travel internationally - Demonstrates creative track-record, e.g. design awards - Experience of working on agile development projects
