Android Development Engineer Intelligent Machine Platform
In the newly established department Intelligent Machine Platform we are now strengthening our abilities in Android application development. As Android Development Engineer in this department you will work with applications development on Volvo CE’s CoPilot platform. The platform is android based and delivers a broad range of applications that improves our customers efficiency, productivity and safety .

We are now looking for talented Software Development Engineers who has experience from android development. As a member of our team you will define the sw architecture, sw design and sw implementation of our products and services that are used every day, by machine operators and owners globally. In some projects you will be developing the solution – in others you will set requirements for our selected development partners and suppliers.

You will work in a dedicated team of engineers where you are contributing with your expertise. The team will use agile methods with an iterative approach. Your work will range over the entire product life cycle – you will work with innovation and advanced engineering, you will create new products in industrialization projects and you will improve customer experience of the application in product maintenance. You will follow your solution from the first sketch all the way to maintenance phase. In many projects development will be done in close collaboration with pilot customer.

You will be a key person in creating a new business for Volvo CE. Your mindset, attitude and personality will be a success factor for this team.

Experience and Qualifications
•Master or Bachelor in computer science, media technology, electrical, electronics or equivalent
•Technical knowledge in SW design, experience from working with Android and Java. Cyber security, Site Management, Autonomy or Machine System design is beneficial
•Solution oriented
•Technically curious and innovative
•Experience from agile work methods is beneficial
•Proficient spoken & written communication skills in English is a requirement
•Proficient spoken & written communication skills in Swedish is beneficial
