Acconeer is an exciting and dynamic company, developing highly advanced low power 60 GHz radar sensors. Acconeer is now expanding and offer a position for a software developer.

As software developer you will be a key member of the core team to develop the company’s sensor technology. You will have a significant impact on the design and applications support for the company’s future products. Since mmW radio is still in its infancy for consumer applications, this will give you a great opportunity to help shape the future direction of the company’s technology.

You will work with software for all parts of our system, from low level hardware drivers to application API’s and from radar control to algorithm implementation. Radar performance and minimum power consumption must be regarded at all times. This will require a good understanding of both HW and SW architecture. Our software is written in C and validated in our development platform based on a commercial single board computer and our sensor HW. As a software developer you will work in close cooperation with our system-, algorithm- and hardware-developers. A broad technical interest and an eagerness to explore new competence areas is a great plus. You will interact closely with customers during the integration process to help and support customized integration of our software. Travel might be required.

Required skills and expertise:
• C, GCC, make-files, Git/Mercurial
• Linux, FreeRTOS
• µControllers, embedded systems and debugging
• Understanding of electronic system design
• Signal processing
• A science/engineering degree
• 5 years of experience
• English language skills, written and verbal

Nice to have:
• Single board computers (e.g. Raspberry Pi)
• Experience of handling electronic testing equipment
• Python, Matlab, Assembler
• RF or RADAR system knowledge
• ASIC and PCB design
• Swedish language skills
