As a network engineer in Ericssons Global ICT centre, Rosersberg, you will work in a team of network engineers, with opportunity to impact and develop the way of working within the team. Daily tasks involves configuring, troubleshooting and operating juniper/extreme switches. You'll also have the opportunity to work on side projects to improve the network environment.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Configure, verify and troubleshoot the network portion of test platforms.
Participate in knowledge sharing.
Work on and suggest continuous improvements to the network.
Automate documentation and other daily tasks.
Ability to analyze and break down problems.
Ability to explain concepts and ideas in a pedagogic manner.
Ability to Communicate and co-operate with other teams.

Minimum Qualififcation & Experience Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent qualification
Excellent communication skills in English.
Solid understanding of networking concepts such as routing, mac address learning and forwarding.
Solid understanding of networking technologies such as vlans, link aggregation, ARP etc.
Experience from working in a linux/unix environment.

Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements

Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
1-3 years of experience in networking
Certifications such as CCNA/JNCIA is seen as a plus
Knowledge of MPLS, BGP and ISIS is seen as a plus
Scripting knowledge in for example python/bash
