Westermo is looking for Project Manager

As Project Manager for our SW products at Westermo you will drive projects from an Agile approach such as Scrum and Kanban. We continuously run a number of projects in parallel and you will be responsible for a subset of them. The major part of our development projects relate to WeOS - our own Operating System based on Linux with Industrial Data Communication services. Other projects relate to our other SW Products - WeConfig and WeConnect.

As Project Manager in our SW Department you become part of a team with highly motivated colleagues; other Project Managers, SW developers, Testers, Architect and Requirements Manager. Together we continuously improve our ways of working and this should be a corner stone in your approach to work as well. Process improvement with focus on Lean should be another area that motivates you. It will be your job to keep it all together with a structured, yet pragmatic approach, to drive your projects.

Apart from driving projects, you will also be responsible for work with tenders and pre-studies.

Qualifications

We believe you have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or the equivalent acquired knowledge. You have very good skills in writing and speaking Swedish as well as English.

A good understanding of data communications products and embedded systems development comprising of development of both SW and HW.

At least five years of experience from Product development of which at least two years as a Project Manager or Scrum Master. If you are a certified Project Manager or Scrum Master, that would be considered as a merit.

Own personal experience from SW development is considered a plus.
