Front-End Developer for Eye Tracking

The role and responsibilities

As a front-end web developer in Tobii, you will be a part of the R&D team interacting with cross-functional teams from growth, sales to gaming software, support and product to contribute to a world-class eye tracking experience, contributing to deliverables as well as identifying levers to optimize growth, and learning through data. You will report to the CMO.

Your days will be filled with

• Improve the growth marketing web platform or create a new one if needed

• Implement the user experience design language across web platforms

• Building world-class web platforms and tools

• Inspire the people around you with exciting real-time results, being part of a scrum process

• Being part of one of our feature teams creating and improving our user-facing feature

We are looking for someone with

To be successful in this role, and at Tobii, we expect you to have
BA/BS degree in Computer Engineering/Science
4+ years of related development experience in building world class web platforms and applications using Wordpress, HTML5, JavaScript and PHP
Strong modern UX understanding and knowledge of current trends, Mobile First
Passionate about/love working with CSS and design
Expert working with different frontend tech stacks: libraries, frameworks, testing, etc.
Experience with front-end libraries like jQuery
Previous WordPress experience and multiple CMS systems
Experience with versioning systems, preferably Git
Have experience with CSS/SASS
Have the passion and dedication to write highly scalable, reliable code
Experience working with Gulp & Webpack
Experience with setting up Web Data, Tag Managers (GTM, Segment)
Experience with Google AMP for Wordpress

If you have previous experience with building web applications using React/Flux that is considered a merit. We also believe you to be comfortable in a startup work environment.
