Information Security Specialist

Nasdaq Technology is now looking for an Information Security Specialist to join Information Security Team in Stockholm. You will sit in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus, which houses 650 of Nasdaq’s IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and testers.

About the team, role and responsibilities:

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for providing security policy orchestration support in areas such as production firewalls, development, and testing. You will be accountable for gathering, maintaining, formating compiling, and manipulating technical data using established formulae and procedures, and developing detailed security policy automations using state of the art security policy orchestration tools. Being an Information Security Specialist, you will be a key person for developing and understanding network security, network hardware, system objectives, server hardware and server operating systems.

Additionally:

Managing public and private network security policy automation using tools such as AlgoSec, Tufin, or similar
Installing, monitoring, maintaining upgrades and supporting server systems to provide maximum performance and availability following established procedures using expertise and knowledge
Reviewing and implementing security policy to support network security and supports the day-to-day provisioning and maintenance of security orchestration services to include reporting and metrics
Acting as a subject matter expert for security policy automation and orchestration

Education Required: Degree qualified in Computers Science, Information Systems or other related discipline
Experience Required: 5-6 years of equivalent work experience
Has completed one of the following Certifications and/or Professionalization status: MCSE certification; GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN); GSEC, GCFW, GCIA, GCIH, GISO, GSNA, GCFA, GSLC; CISA, CISSP certifications
Strong operational skills, previous experience in security
Proven experience with Linux, Windows, Networks, Python, some scripting skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Positive attitude and an ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
Fluent in English verbally and written, Swedish language would be preferred
