Zynapp is a Swedish startup company with big ambitions who have now arrived at point where it is time to go big and therefore go global. At the moment they are around 20 co-workers spread throughout Karlstad, Gothenburg and Stockholm. For several years they have been working on their own mobile application, who is going to give the user back control of their own digital life, and now its time to take the next step.

In light of this venture, Academic Work has been entrusted with the task of recruiting several new colleagues to the majestic and centrally located office in Karlstad. We are looking for people who have a big interest in backend development and want to join a team of 14 other developers.

Academic Work is now searching for two backend smartness developers on account of Zynapp who are mainly going to be working with machine learning programming where you together with your colleagues will learn machines to identify the contents of text as well as pictures.

Zynapp is a software in the form of an application who helps the user to collect their digital footprint. In a groundbreaking way the application helps you find, sort and structure digital information connected to name, time and place. The logic behind the application is built on the synapses of the brain, and the company have a vision of reaching 100 million users.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Zynapp is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work. Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidates that proceed will be employed directly by Zynapp

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a backend smartness developer at Zynapp you will be working in a team in accordance to agile development practices in sprints lasting for two weeks at a time. You will mainly be working with continuing to develop the machine learning technology currently in place within the company.

For example, you will:

* Be working with developing machine learning where you teach programs to understand texts, identify the contents of pictures as well as identifying persons in photos.
* Develop programming solutions in Java and together with the development team as well as design and test code used in the application.

This position suits you who have a genuine interest in IT and want to work in an unique environment where you will have the opportunity to progress together with your colleagues in an atmosphere whom lives and breathes of startup. VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who loves app-development and share the Zynapp’s opinion that the user is the one who is supposed to govern the application, and not the other way around. We are interested in newly graduated as well as people who have a few years of experience within the area. Most likely you have a Bachelor of Engineering or a Master of Engineering within Computer Engineering. Alternatively you have a Bachelor of Mathematics but dream of becoming a developer. Regardless of that you are now ready to take the first step in your future career!

It will be considered an additional qualification if you…

* Have good knowledge within Object Oriented Programming in Java.
* Have good knowledge in English since that is the corporate language.
