Academic Work is looking for a Senior Tester to work for one year during a parental leave for our client Pricer. You will be working at the product development department. Pricer is a company with a great focus on creativity and innovation. Therefore, they have Lab-Friday every second week where the employees get to use their creativity to work on a technical project of their choice. Many times, this has led to innovative features in the products as well as fun improvements of the office environment.

Pricer is the global leader in providing in-store digital shelf-edge solutions, which enhances both store performance as well as costumer experience. The platform is a combined hardware-software system built with components such as infrared wireless communication, ultra-low power displays, merchandising supports and tools, and server infrastructure (cloud, distributed or in-store).

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Pricer is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Pricer.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Senior Tester you will be an important part of the product development process as you will make sure that Pricer’s products have the best quality and standards possible. In the role you will work to test bugs and new features in the systems. You will conduct manual testing as well as create automated tests. In the daily work there is a high focus on working fast and efficiently. There is also a back-log where errands are put, which can help make the organization more efficient in the long run. In the software development department they also do regular code reviews which you as a tester also will be part of. You will work closely with the developers, and have the opportunity to bring your ideas forward. Furthermore, you will be asked to write tests and analyze test results.

In the role you will work with Java and Selenium in both Linux- and Windows-environment. An important aspect of the role is to work with network security as it is critical for the product to have high security standards.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have a relevant academic degree with a lot of focus of Computer Science

* You have at least 5 years of experience of working with testing, where you have done test automation, manual testing, written test scripts as well as analyzed test results
* Can execute testing in both Linux and Windows-environment.
* Knows Java (8) very well
* Speaks English at a professional level

* Have worked in transactions-intensive environments
* Have experience of working with hardware-close testing
* Previously have worked with product development
* Can test the products from a security point of view
* Have experience from working with Microservices and Cloudservices
