PDU Cloud is a PDU within DU Infrastructure & Cloud, a DU within Business Area Digital Services, which supplies components & server platforms internally to units across the whole company.
Product Development Group Blade Server Platform (PDG BSP) is a unit within PDU Cloud with responsibility for E2E development of Switching products and components. We develop the following components and products:
Products: Blade Server Platform (BSP)
Ericsson Blade Server (EBS) components: SCX, CMX, CCI, CAX and SMX

Job Summary:
We are now looking for a Developer to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Position Summary

We need a person that can help us evolve our BSP product and test environment. We are looking for a person that can work with both product development and evolve our basic/unit test & simulated target environment (currently based on Docker and OVS)

Position Qualifications

You should be an R&D Developer, with design or test profile, that have good knowledge in operation and management protocols for switches, routers, servers, and off cause know your way around using Linux OS.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Good knowledge in Docker and virtualization used in products and test environments
Good knowledge in Erlang and/or C programming language, Linux OS, shell scripting and version handling in GIT, Gerrit.
Good skills to integrate, verify and trouble shoot in Linux based target environment.
Basic knowledge in JCAT/Java
Basic knowledge in Ethernet Switching and TCP/IP, incl. protocols (at least Mac bridges, Link aggregation, VLAN).
Basic knowledge in TCP/IP Routing incl. protocols (at least OSPF, BGP, Static routes)
Basic knowledge in O&M design, models, and protocols (e.g. ECIM, SNMP and Netconf)
BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Fluent in both written and spoken English
General requirements according to Developer Stage 5
